On the Road with Robert Todd: A Bridge Player's Workbook
This project involved creating a workbook designed to accompany Robert Todd's bridge lessons and seminars, all across the country.
The design challenge was to produce a companion workbook that is not just educational but also engaging, reflecting the same energy and passion Robert brings to his classes. The workbook needed to be intuitive for students of various levels, providing a clear and organized structure to facilitate learning during and after Robert’s sessions.
As an avid bridge enthusiast and educator, Robert’s global reach and influence in the bridge community had to be captured in the design. The workbook is structured to lead players on a journey through the complexities of bridge, complementing Robert’s hands-on teaching style with visual aids and easy-to-follow content.
Each page was crafted with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that the information is presented in a way that is both accessible and stimulating. The result is a perfect blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal – a visual representation of the strategic depth of bridge as taught by one of the most respected figures in the game.
As the President of the ACBL Educational Foundation and a prolific contributor to bridge literature, Robert’s passion is well reflected in the workbook’s design, making complex strategies approachable and allowing players to track their progress on their bridge journey.
