Project Overview:
Harvey Browne Preschool, a well-established preschool and kindergarten in Louisville, KY, needed a fresh, user-friendly website that would serve both prospective and current families. I collaborated with the school to redesign their site, incorporating their branding and ensuring it met their unique needs.

Goals:
Create a welcoming, easy-to-navigate site that reflects the nurturing and vibrant atmosphere of the preschool.
Provide clear, accessible information for prospective families, including admissions details and an application process.
Develop a resource hub for current families, offering access to essential documents, calendars, and updates.
Ensure the site is mobile-friendly and optimized for different devices.

Key Features:
Admissions Page: A streamlined page outlining the enrollment process, tuition details, and links to application forms.
Kindergarten Program Page: Highlighting the unique features of the school’s Kindergarten Kangaroos program with a focus on developmentally appropriate practices and engaging activities.
Current Families Hub: A central resource with quick links to the school calendar, forms, and a downloadable parent handbook.
Interactive Parent Handbook: Designed as an FAQ-style accordion for easy navigation, with the option to download a printable copy.

Results:
The redesigned website is visually appealing, highly functional, and easy to update. It has received positive feedback from the preschool staff and parents, noting the improved usability and clear organization. The project not only enhanced the preschool’s online presence but also streamlined communication with families.

Takeaways:
This project showcased my ability to balance creativity with functionality, working collaboratively with stakeholders to meet their goals. It also reinforced the importance of designing for diverse audiences, ensuring the site serves as an effective tool for both new and existing families.
